'Living to share the Light of Christ', we are an Anglican church in Bonavista, Newfoundland & Labrador, created in 2018. We believe that the Bible is the supreme authority as interpreted through reason and tradition. Our community is made up of diverse backgrounds but united in the Gospel. We are actively involved in our local community and global mission, and offer a practical introduction to the Christian faith called 'Alpha'. We are small but strong!
Our main worship service at All Saints Bonavista is at 10:30am every Sunday. Following the Anglican Book of Common Prayer 2019, our preaching is thoughtful and moving, and we celebrate Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) frequently. Our worship music is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. A lunch follows each service, and visitors and parishioners alike are always welcomed with a warm hug!
Rev. Shaun O'Connor, M. Div.
Shaun grew up in the Anglican Church, attended Wycliffe College, and was ordained as a priest in 2001. The founding Rector of All Saints Bonavista, he also serves widely in our community-at-large and our Diocese. He is married to Sandra and they have two grown sons. He enjoys art, music, the outdoors, and being a 'fool for the Lord'!
